Bright, clean facility! Highly recommended!
I highly recommend this office for any pet owner in need of emergency or specialty services. I tool my dog in with a rare condition, Chylothorax. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the door. My dog need to have extensive surgery. Dr Monaco was the best, he explained the procedure in a way that it was easy to understand. He is truly one of the best Vets I have ever come across. The entire staff was very friendly, n matter what time I called to check on him they were always kind. Their prices were very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this place!
One: you are next a few more minutes till the doctor sees you. (An hour later or so)
As stated, I had faith in you all... yet this was the straw that broke the camels back. Our fault for going a third time to you. The first was an hour and half and the other was a complete refusal when I came in with my parrot and needed help getting a ring off his beak. Lucky I did it in the lobby and we went home. That receptionist ran in the back for 30 minutes.
The next was "oh other patients are in the hospital, sorry you weren't told but that's being addressed first".
Instead of addressing a review, you should've called.
The receptionist/nurse also refused to help us get our dog the stairs and said "the elevator" is there. We had assistance since when we initially came in for a leg issue. 82 pound bulldog, and we struggled to get him into our car. We were told to ask for help. When we did we were denied.
We came in for a leg issue. He was not walking.
My local vet detected a heart murmur and suggested we go to BluePearl since they have the most sophisticated equipment and a resident cardiologist (Dr. Erickson) , who was amazing. Everyone was helpful, personable and competent. Even the person at the front desk who helped me with the coffee machine. Trust me. You will need help, too!
So, this is a sorry to late. It would have been more professional if you had called.
Since apparently you knew my dog was "stable".. you knew who I was and could've looked my number up.
While I thank you for your response back( only reason I saw it was because I was reading reviews for other practices. Today is 11/28/17) My dog was not stable. He was having a panic attack and breathing issue in your lobby while waiting to be seen. We were there for hours. We expressed concern and we were given two different messages.

Dr Matt Sherger and the entire staff at Blue Pearl Paramus were outstanding in treating our dog, Miss Francis, for mast cell cancer. Although Miss Francis did not survive the onset of the cancer, she received wonderful, empathetic and caring treatment from everyone at Blue Pearl. I recommend this hospital in every way. Superb!
Note: the panic attack started around the last 30 minutes of us waiting 3 hours. It took that much time getting him to the car.
If we had known that from the beginning we would have gladly gone elsewhere. My dog was in pain from the leg initially and the time waited and mix messages triggered the attack. You could've given us a room were he could've laid comfortably.
Pricey but they perform miracles 24/7. Great staff, caring, clean & compassion & more in an all service hospital. One stop for all types of emergencies...So glad they are there.
That would've kept our loyalty and given you another chance.
Sincerely,
My dog was in distress and OAH took him right away, confirmed he was, and the prices, care, and time was excellent and wonderful.
