Yesterday, Cyber Monday, I bought my fiancé a pair of shoes on DSWs website. It was an in-store pickup and I was supposed to get the email within 4 hours. By 7:23PM I never received the email, so I called the store. After waiting on hold for 17 minutes, someone finally came back to the phone and said my shoes were ready to be picked up. I drove down to Paramus, which is a 20 minute drive. Upon getting there, I sat online for 15 minutes. Finally when getting to the cash register after driving all the way there, the very rude lady told me that my order was cancelled due to a mess up in their system.. and that’s it. No help, no “can I find you another pair of shoes?”, nothing. A simple “the order was cancelled”. No phone call, no nothing. A waste of time. Don’t trust when you call them and they say the order is ready.
A bit disappointed once again at their shoe selection, no wide shoes and limited styles. Left empty handed and found a similar pair online much cheaper.
It really comes down to the luck of the draw--I've left this store with five boxes of shoes on some trips, one box on others. It's a great value proposition, whether you're looking for dress shoes, sneakers, or whatever else.
My wife and daughter love this place. Amazing number of women's footwear at decent prices. I only wish the men's section had more selections. 0
