After that I still couldn't understand why i should pay for the rental car insurance, so I called a geico worker who worked at 17auto body. I explained about my situation. As soon as he listen to my story, he told me that
The Enterprise worker said that I should pay if I have a collission coverage. If not, the other person should pay. The worker told me that I had a collision coverage that means you should pay for the insurance.
I don't want to pay for the three days of the CDW because of the worker that wasn't being honest.
Did speak to Steve the area manager who was shocked at the service I received. Said he would help me out if I ever needed another rental. Steve responded quickly and was concerned.
I would not use this branch again. Others are close by. Returned the car to Ridgewood. Very helpful and drive me to my repaired car.
I couldn't understand why I had to pay for the insurace but I had to sign for paying the insurance because I had to rent a car anyway.
So I said of course i need a rental car insurance, but I don't need to pay for it. The person who hit my car from the back would pay.

I was sent to the route17 auto body for a car inspection from geico. And I rented a enterprise rent car at 17autobody.
When I had the rent car, a worker who worked at enterprise told me that I should have an insurance against the contingencies.
Eventually, I canceled the CDW in three days, but I still had to pay for the three days.
If it wasn't for the GEICO worker that helped me, then I would have had to pay for the CDW until I had to return the car.
2 days later I called as I had water on the floor mats and water dripping on my feet. Was asked if I left the minded open. I replied "No". Asked for a new car. Was told it was Wednesday and this is the busiest day to either call back tomorrow or find one thru another branch or competitor. That said I called customer service and also called around to find a great branch in New Brunswick. These guys are top knotch. Got me out of a car dripping hot water on my feet and into a car that was not a safety concern.

I didn't have to pay for anything like insurance. The person who hit my car would pay all my bills including insurance. The GEICO worker told me to call ENTERPRISE immediately and cancel the CDW so I did. (That's when I knew what the CDW was)
The ENTERPRISE worker wasn't honest. He also tried to sell me an additional insurance like CDW. If the ENTERPRISE worker explained cleary to me about the CDW and that the insurance was additional and not necessary, I wouldn't have signed the insurance contract. The only reason why I signed the contract was because the ENTERPRISE worker told me that I had to pay for it.
I found out then. He was trying to sell an additional insurance to me. I was very upset.
We have used enterprise exclusively for many years when the need for a rental car arises. It is a family owned business that, amazingly enough, actually treats you like 'family!' Excellent customer service from Chris and Hailey, who took the time to be certain that I was completely satisfied with a vehicle comparable to the one being temporarily replaced. Extremely professional representatives who made the process smooth, comfortable and quick.
Went to pu the car. All was great. Quick fast efficient service. Everyone was great.
