Walter the manager there treats customers with complete disrespect. I've spent thousands of dollars here over the past three months and had been treated very well initially but during my last visit I dealt with Walter who claimed to be the manager there and got very upset with me when I went to pick an item that I had already paid for. I arrived at the store 15 minutes before they closed and he locked the door in my face and walked away. I knocked on the door and he completely ignored me. I then called and he finally answered and initially refused to open the door and let me in even though I explained I was just picking up. He lets me in then proceeds to give me attitude saying next time come when they are open.. again it was 7:45! He was very rude and refused to give his name saying I don't need to talk to anyone that because he's the manager there. He finally gave his name when I asked why I'm not allowed to know who I'm talking to. The whole thing was very bizarre and the treatment from him was not at all professional or courteous. It's really unfortunate given how helpful the rest of the staff had been up until that point.
Very robust selection! The staff was helpful And offered to better a price match if I found something i liked elsewhere. What they don't have in store, they can help you narrow down or find what you're looking for in their extensive catalogs.
Looks small from the outside. But large selection of lighting on the inside.
UPDATE: Gary the owner called and showed genuine concern and apologized for Walter's behavior. Corrective action was taken and Gary did and said all the right things to make things better. Increasing my rating to 3 stars as a result. Would be 5 stars for sure had it not been for that one incident.
Hands Down The Best Store For Lighting and Fixtures. I recently Purchased a house and Went to the Bigger stores like Lowes and Home Depot to get all of what I needed and found it very Hard to get anyone to help me with offering good advice. When I walked into The Lighting Superstore a Gentleman Greeted me ( I apologize for Forgetting his Name) and Offered to help me find what I was Looking for. At no point of time did I feel Rushed or Pressured In Fact I was able to make my own Decision after receiving very good hands on input on the Products I was Looking at. I will be Referring my Friends who will be Purchasing their First home Next Month.
I was delighted with the style and selection but more, so I was so impressed with the customer experience. In today's market, not many people take the time to tailor their guests experience yet, I left feeling as if I had my own "expert lighting consultant" which took away all the worry! This is a World Class establishment....
