Wonderful experience. Well kept rooms and excellent staff. Location and traffic were not desirable however. Besides that, I will never forget my stay at the courtyard.
Good size room, firm comfortable bed and a shower with good water pressure. Like most places in the area the tap water is heavily chlorinated so don't plan on drinking it. This place also has no vending machines and the prices at the front desk for drinks is a little on the high side. Recommend you bring your own refreshments but this is one of the most retail intensive areas in New Jersey so plenty of places to get supplies. This place is not easy to drive out of with the traffic. There did not seem to be anything walkable from the hotel. The fitness center has 3 treadmills, and 1 elliptical and 1 stairmachine all in good repair. The pool is 20'x30' and very warm 90°+ quite soothing. Would stay there again.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. We arrived around midnight and was able to check in seamlessly. They also were helpful with extending the check out time, finding me a wine opener and also a complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste. The rooms were very comfy and pretty big, with a couch and office chair as well. The only drawback I would say is that it's next to the highway so there's really no view and it can get noisy at times.
Beautiful and clean rooms. I especially liked that this hotel has the feature where you can log into your Hulu , Netflix, etc account to watch your shows. They also have a cafe and plenty of parking. Staff was very nice. We were in the first floor near the lobby. I wouldn't recommend a room that close as you will hear people coming and going. Nothing rowdy, but loud enough for you to hear through your door. I plan on staying there again...on the second floor.
This would be 5 stars if the glass of bourbon I had at the bar was $15. I was met with smiles and complimentary water at check-in. The room was well furnished and the HBO channels were nice. Usually food service at a hotel consists of a bartender, a cook and at least one assistant/wait staff. This place has the bartender making drinks at the bar and cooking food behind him. A manager is trying to help him but that's not effective. This is a staffing issue and the 5+ customers I witnessed being served seemed dissatisfied with the wait.
